It’s not the Love Boat

Every time I go out driving in this rather treacherous, cold, icy weather, I marvel at two things: one, I make it to my destination and back safely; two, I may not like the weather but the scenery is exceptionally beautiful. Then again, staying home offers beauty and amazing proximity to nature (several nights ago, in the middle of multiple mechanical breakdowns in my home, a group of seven small deer spent the entire night huddled in my driveway around my car, licking it).

As the year ends, I will recount the movies and TV seen since I am not sharing recipes at the moment. Starting with the movies I have seen this year, I will place asterisks next to the ones I recommend. Frankly I enjoyed most of them, so I could recommend any of the films without hesitation. I am sad to admit that I have not watched as many films this year as I normally do. I hope I do better in 2011.
