After a very long trip through the mail, from Sweden to Beijing, China, the cookies I mailed to our Chinese office finally arrived!

No worse for the wear (at least in terms of how they held up in transit), I cannot vouch for whether they taste any good now that they have been traveling for so long. It was a valuable experiment in any case.

Thanks to one of the colleagues there, I can even share a picture of the results.

Meanwhile, autumn has definitely arrived here. The leaves on the giant trees around my house have turned yellow, and when the wind blows, it is raining leaves.

Yesterday I finally discovered that they are selling regular Icelandic skyr flavors in Norway: vanilla and strawberry. The vanilla is not like skyr in Iceland, but then… what really is like skyr in Iceland?
